About the Opportunity: GSG is seeking a UI/UX Designer to join our client in the financial industry. Responsibilities: Lead the design and user experience of web and mobile applications from concept to launch. Lead and facilitate collaborative design sessions including sketching and ideation. Lead design vendors regarding assignments and delivery schedules for multiple projects concurrently. Build and maintain a design system in Figma. Represent the design team brand and deliver a consistent design process to partners and vendors. Create and maintain design schedules, communicate status and agreements with product team. Mentor and guide junior UI/UX designers in design processes and best practices. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions. Drive and conduct user research, including usability testing, surveys, and interviews, to inform design decisions and validate design solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, developers, engineering, and vendors, to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience. Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and tools in UI/UX design industry. Requirements: At least 5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a focus on web and IOS/Android application design At least 3 years’ experience working with Material Design Experience working in both big company and startup environments, with a proven ability to work quickly and effectively in fast-paced environments. Experience building and maintaining a style guide within Figma. Strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design skills, including user research and testing, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, digital design systems, development-ready designs. In-depth knowledge of user-centered design methodologies and best practices, including material design implementations and optimization Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Axure, Invision & Adobe Creative Suite, Financial services background. Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts, technologies, and processes. A growth mindset, with a strong desire to learn, grow, and develop both personally and professionally. Proven experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships.
