While we work with students across the country, our immediate openings are:
Location:
Los Angeles County Library Locations
El Monte, CA 91731
Schedule:
Tues/Wed, 3:30 PM TO 7:00 PM
Thurs, 2:00 PM TO 5:30 PM
Hours:
9-15 hours per week, with the possibility of 20+ hours per week within 30 days by working additional virtual or in-person hours.
Pay:
$22 per hour standard
$23 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request)
$24 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor
In this role, you will:
Provide small group tutoring sessions to students using the provided curriculum and learning technology.
Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.
Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
You will pass FBI/DOJ background check
You can provide 3 professional references
You have a minimum of 60 units of college credits
You have at least one year of student-related experience
You are detail-oriented and highly dependable
You are an effective communicator
You have reliable transportation
You can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
You love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar
