Complete Description: Our client seeks a talented Technical Writer to join a dynamic, collaborative team. The role involves creating, maintaining, and managing complex technical documents while working closely with cross-functional teams and vendors. Job Type: Contract Contract Duration: 6 months Work Location: Remote Responsibilities Research, prepare, and maintain detailed technical documents. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, IT Analysts, SQL Developers, and engage with vendors to understand system details. Participate as a member of a project team. Establish documentation processes and coach team members on effective writing practices. Ensure that documents meet editorial and customer specifications and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, format, and style. Work with writers, illustrators, word processors, and subject matter experts to coordinate and prepare edited drafts. Participate in the publishing of formatted documentation in various media. Maintain current knowledge of relevant technical subject matter as assigned. Track project documentation through creation, approval, publication, and update lifecycle. Partner with and create documentation for the Business Impact Analysis team. Skills and Experience 3+ years of Technical Writing experience Degree in the field of technical writing, information systems; or equivalent work experience Hands-on experience writing, formatting, and editing technical documents Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products Smartsheet and ServiceNow experience preferred Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Progilisys
