Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services is a fast-growing, clinician-owned company that truly cares and understands what home healthcare is all about. We are searching for an energetic and caring Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our amazing team of clinicians that serves the Plymouth residential area of Massachusetts. This Part-Time position offers a visit rate of $32/visit.

In this role, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the communication and swallowing skills of our clients in the comfort of their own homes. You will collaborate with a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to implement personalized treatment plans, providing compassionate care that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and their families. Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

  • Assist in implementing speech and language treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Conduct therapy sessions in patients' homes to improve communication skills, swallowing, and other related disorders.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting observations and changes to the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions, including patient responses and outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Requirements:
  • Home healthcare experience is recommended, but not required.
  • Candidates must have MA Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and electronic health records.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits.
  • CPR certification and knowledge of first aid procedures.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and schedules.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
