Exciting job opportunity to lead and support a team committed to excellence in executing WORK Inc’s Total Facility Management contract.
WORK Inc. is seeking a candidate that has a strong maintenance facility and mechanical background with demonstrated customer, employee and hands-on project management skills to oversee its Total Facility Management contract including custodial, landscaping and snow removal services at the prestigious JFK Presidential Library and Museum in Dorchester, MA.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a B.S. Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with a broad understanding of building mechanical systems with at least 8 years of experience in basic facilities engineering work, including hands-on experience in boiler operation and repair, controls, HVAC equipment operation, primary and secondary electrical distribution systems, refrigeration and chill water/heating water systems, plumbing and electrical work, and must have appropriate Federal, State, or local licenses and certifications as necessary to perform services under this contract. In addition, the candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience, within the last 5 as a Facility/Project Manager of a contract of similar size, scope and complexity.
This is a highly visible public orientated position that requires strong organizational and customer service skills, excellent written and oral communication, computer literacy and an ability to work comfortably and effectively with a wide variety of individuals including those with disabilities.
Position requires the candidate to be on call for emergency and contract related situations. Candidates must be able to pass applicable security clearance through NARA and have a valid driver license with a good safety driving record.
Position pays $140,420 based on education and experience and includes a robust health plan, life insurance and disability insurance, paid vacations, and holidays.
