Job Description
We’re looking for a Freelance Sr. Copywriter with Script Writing experience to join our team for an exciting project! The ideal candidate will have experience script writing for social, is a master of fun, humorous writing, and has worked on big marketing campaigns in the past. We're looking for someone quite senior, with ideation and concepting experience as well. We need immediate support through November, with an option to extend through the end of the year. Must be based in New York City.
Requirements
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Strong conceptual abilities, remarkable writing skills and a solid knowledge of the digital landscape.
Polished client presentation skills demonstrating a clear vision of how the work addresses the client challenge.
Script ideation and writing capabilities, especially weaving in fun, humor, and social-first dialogue.
Desire to work collaboratively as part of a larger team in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks across a wide range of clients.
Five-plus years of experience in an agency setting.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver compelling, strategic, well-crafted communications across multiple platforms for a diverse range of audiences.
Write and edit engaging posts for various social networks, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on the target audience’s behaviors.
Write clearly and concisely while maintaining quality by following proper grammar rules, agency process, client guidelines and legal requirements.
Work collaboratively with creative and account partners. Translate direction into action.
Execute projects in a timely and intelligent manner while contributing strategically to the long-term vision of the brand internally and with the client.
Understand marketing plans including objectives and strategies and how success will be measured.
