*Join Our Team as a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) in Hemet, CA! *

In this rewarding role, you will provide essential occupational therapy services to students based on their individual education plans (IEP). You'll help students develop fine and gross motor skills, sensory motor skills, play and social skills, and basic self-care.

*As a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) you will: *
* Provide occupational therapy services to students in pre-K to 6th grade based on their individual education plans (IEP).
* Supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to ensure quality care.
* Perform professional assessments of students’ developmental abilities and progress.
* Offer recommendations for OT interventions to help maximize students' learning potential.
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to develop effective IEPs.
* Travel to multiple campuses to perform evaluations or provide services as needed.

*Qualifications for this School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) role include: *
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
* Master’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy program.
* Prior OT experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
* Occupational therapy licensure in the state of California.
* Certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
