Job Description
Garver is seeking a
Project Engineer to join our Central Texas Water team in
Austin, TX . The Project Engineer must be capable of working closely with clients to ensure their expectations of service are exceeded.
This position will be responsible for performing design for a variety of projects, such as:
- Water and wastewater treatment plants
- Improvements and retrofitting of existing facilities
- Pipelines
- Pump stations and lift stations

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in civil, biological, or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
- EIT or the ability to complete within 6 months.
- 1+ years experience related to design of municipal water/wastewater conveyance and treatment systems
- Strong communications skills
- Ability to work independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
Preferred Skills: - 3+ years experience of municipal water/wastewater projects
- Master's degree in civil, biological, or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
