Job Description
Job Description: As a Plumbing Project Supervisor (PPS), you will utilize your field knowledge and leadership skills in an office setting. You will oversee project planning, scheduling, forecasting, and budgeting for new construction plumbing projects. A focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and overall company success is required. Candidates must be willing to participate in continuing education, pass a pre-employment physical, and be able to work full-time in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with safety policies and document and implement corrective measures.
Supervise foremen, determine methods of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, and work schedules.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure work correlates with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Coordinate and verify all layouts and installation of slabs, rough-ins, finishes, and equipment.
Manage material take-offs, create sketches from blueprints, review specifications, adjust/approve submittals, and release material requisitions.
Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications.
Advise senior management of any possible work interferences or scheduling challenges and work to resolve them as appropriate.
Serve as the final trade expert on matters elevated from the field.
Effectively plan, organize, delegate, and control the work process.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Licenses:
Successful completion of a field evaluation.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license.
Master/Journeyman License.
Service Tech gas license.
OSHA 10 certification.
Strong team-building and leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
Receptive to new ideas and questions.
Efficient and organized.
Supervisory Responsibility: Yes
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer.
Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
