ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As a Platform Engineer for the AN/BYG-1 and Tactical Control Systems programs, you’ll engage as part of a cross functional team responsible for enabling a seamless developer experience. You will continuously focus on removing hurdles to enable rapid capability development experience by software and infrastructure developers, utilizing the best in breed practices and technologies. Key Performance Objectives: Automation of infrastructure and tools to streamline operations, deployment, and monitoring processes. Contribute to the design, implementation, orchestration, and maintenance of containerized environments. Maintain the DevSecOps pipeline and implement process improvements. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and ensure seamless integration of new features. Ability to develop and maintain Cyber Secure infrastructure. What Sets You Apart: Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies, including CNCF graduated projects, such as ArgoCD, Rook-Ceph, Prometheus, Grafana, Nexus, Helm, Jenkins, Bamboo or other continuous integration tools. Experience with DISA cyber security standards and best practices. You have a passion for pain-free developer experience and understand the pain points developers experience in developing and shipping new features into production. You stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and proactively find opportunities to operational them. Ability to work in a flexible environment that embraces rapid change, emphasizes continuous learning, and attack new challenges.
