We seek a Pharmacy Technician  to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Location: N171 W21840 Caymus Ct. Jackson, WI 53037

Hours: Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays required (approximately once per month). Will be working varying shifts of 7am – 3pm or 10am – 6pm. When working Saturday, will be working 4 days Monday – Friday + Saturday (Saturday hours will be 8am – 4pm).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Running a machine to package prescriptions
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Will be required to perform cycling duties including cycling meds, toting and doctor refill requests
• Other duties as assigned
• This is a closed-door pharmacy, no face-to-face patient contact

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Wisconsin OR the ability to obtain license within 60 days of employment (must complete application prior to start date)
• Access to reliable transportation 
• Ability to work varying shifts of 7am – 3pm or 10am – 6pm, Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays required (Saturday shifts will be 8am – 4pm)
• Ability to stand for 8 hours at a time

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Previous pharmacy experience
