Manufacturing Engineer III

Position Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer III is responsible for leading the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and systems. This role focuses on implementing Six Sigma methodologies to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure high-quality standards in manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement process improvements using Six Sigma methodologies
• Analyze and optimize industrial processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve manufacturing goals
• Design and develop manufacturing fixtures and tooling to support production
• Oversee the implementation of automated systems in the production process
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Conduct training for manufacturing staff on new processes and technologies
• Utilize ERP systems to manage production programs and schedules
• Perform root cause analysis and problem-solving for production challenges
• Support the design and development of new products, focusing on manufacturability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
• Strong knowledge of Six Sigma methodology
• Experience with industrial processes and manufacturing practices
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as SMT, automatic and manual wire bonding, and seam welding
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and LabView
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong focus on quality and efficiency in production
