Job Title: Event Assistant Location: Atlanta, GA Position Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Event Assistant will support the event planning and execution process, working closely with the Event Manager and other team members. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and possess excellent communication skills. This role requires a passion for events and a willingness to learn and take on various tasks. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, and social gatherings. Help manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, and transportation. Communicate with vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure all event needs are met. Assist in the development of event marketing materials, including invitations, programs, and social media promotions. Monitor and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and processing invoices. Collect feedback from participants and provide post-event reports. Contribute to the overall team effort by performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality, event management, or a related field is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
