ROCKWOOL is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join the North American Hub of our global engineering organization. This position is onsite at our state of the art facility in Ranson, WV, with extensive overseas travel required. Your assignments can vary from small machine deliveries and support cases to participation in large "Greenfield" factory projects on a global scale. What You Will Be DoingYou'll support electrical design activities within one or more of these areas:Medium and Low Voltage power distributionProcess Control System layout/design/dimensioningElectrical panelsSafe functionsTest planningYou'll execute electrical implementation from initial phase to hand-over including:PlanningCoordination within the team and external suppliersSecuring the quality of the deliveries and the electrical documentation packageDriving improvement initiatives within electrical design of ROCKWOOL melting plantsTravel extensively to and from Europe for long periods of time working on electrical design and implementation within current manufacturing facilities while learning ROCKWOOL processesWhat You BringA Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering5+ years of proven experience preferably within electrical design and building of manufacturing plants providing highly automated high-volume productionExperience with Electrical design and documentation in CAD software - preferably in ePlan.Strong technical aptitude for technical analysis and problem-solving sometimes involving advanced processes and complex regulated systemsAbility to communicate efficiently to international colleagues across all levels in the organization.Experience with requirements in NFPA 79 and UL 508A is an advantage.What We Offer:Competitive Salary Generous Benefits - Effective your first day!
