The Dog Resort in Fort Myers, FL is looking for one dog daycare attendant to join our 24 person strong team. We are located on 12140 Metro Pkwy Suite F. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged.
Duties:
-Ensure the safety of all of the dogs in our care
-Manage dog play in playgroups
-daily cleaning – dog messes of all kinds, laundry, and yard clean up
-Preparing meals, feeding, and administering medication, with great attention to detail
-Some basic grooming – baths, brush out, ear/eye cleaning, nail trims
-Customer interactions
Qualifications :
-A love of dogs of all sizes, a caring personality and patience
-Willing to get down and dirty - cleaning is a huge part of the job!
-Excellent communication skills and can take direction, both verbal and written
-Flexible availability - Weekends and holidays are a MUST
- Works well as a team and independently
-customer service skills
-A desire to learn about dogs and their behavior
-Able to lift 50 lbs + able to be on your feet for an 8 hour day
- Availability to work weekends and holidays - they are our busiest times and are REQUIRED!
** Excellent attendance – the dogs and your team depend on you
-must be 18+ and have reliable transportation

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
