Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role is fully remote after an initial training period and offers the opportunity to work from the comfort of your home. You'll be a key part of our team, ensuring accurate and efficient data entry, supporting pharmacy operations, and delivering excellent service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Take a proactive, enthusiastic approach to your work, showing initiative.
Handle tasks with a sense of urgency while maintaining superb multi-tasking abilities.
Review all orders for completeness and accuracy of information.
Interpret and read prescriptions accurately.
Verify patient details and ensure proper physician authorization.
Check all orders for insurance approval and process accordingly.
Scan prescriber information into our system for proper documentation.
Set up patient records for prescriptions.
Provide phone support (both inbound and outbound calls) as needed.
Requirements:

A verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required.
Strong attendance is required for the first 90 days of employment.
Attention to detail in reviewing and processing orders for completeness.
Ability to read and interpret prescriptions accurately.
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
1-3 years of experience in a pharmacy data intake or related role.
Active Pharmacy Technician License with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Overtime may be required starting in January.
Job Highlights:
