Conduct thorough legal research, case analysis, and investigation to develop effective defense strategies. Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on case progress, explain legal options, and address concerns. Prepare and file legal motions, pleadings, and other court documents. Represent clients at arraignments, hearings, trials, and other court proceedings. Negotiate plea deals with prosecutors to achieve favorable outcomes for clients. Collaborate with investigators, experts, and support staff to build strong defense cases. Stay current on changes in criminal law, court procedures, and legal precedents to provide informed and effective representation. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar and in good standing. Minimum 2 years of experience practicing criminal defense law. Strong knowledge of criminal law, procedures, and rules of evidence. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proven ability to advocate persuasively in court and negotiate effectively with opposing counsel. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
