We’re looking for a general contractor who can lead our labor crew and subcontractors to success and get the job done right. You’ll help our construction company plan and manage all new construction and remodeling projects for our hotels. You'll need to manage project costs and obtain all building permits. Our ideal candidate has at least 1 year of general contractor experience overseeing construction projects; work on larger hotel or multi-family projects would be a bonus. $30 - $36 hourly

• Assist the project manager with any other duties as needed for the entire project
• Record a daily log of construction project progress and home improvement updates for the project manager and homeowner
• Discuss project costs with the client and help the project manager plan out the day-to-day building project process
• Purchase any needed project equipment and supplies and promptly reorder items when the stock gets depleted
• Ensure tools, vehicles, and equipment are well-maintained, and schedule maintenance for them if needed

• In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles
• 1 year of prior experience as a general contractor or in a similar role required, 3+ years of experience preferred
• Physical stamina to lift at least 40 lbs and use heavy equipment
• Finished training for OSHA 30 license and firm adherence to safety protocols on the job-site
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and time-management skills
