Hearthstone, located in the heart of Pella, Iowa, is a WesleyLife Community for Healthy Living offering a comprehensive range of services including independent living, assisted living, memory support, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term nursing care across three distinct campuses. Embracing a ministry approach, Hearthstone focuses on enhancing residents' lives through engagement, respect, compassion, and joy. We feature an award-winning household model with 16 residents in each home engaging with one another and our greater community. A Typical Day for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Hearthstone/The Cottages:
Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals with a 2:16 ratio
Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
Conduct routine health monitoring, such as checking vital signs and administering medications.
Facilitate resident participation in recreational and therapeutic activities.
Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.

Compensation:
The starting pay rate will be based on years of experience.

Shift Differentials:
Evening Shift: Additional $3.00/hr
Night Shift: Additional $4.00/hr
Weekends: Additional $1.00/hr
