LOCATION: Hybrid; Fairfax, VA

ITC is seeking a dynamic, highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team, where they will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our financial strategy, operations and planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance within the federal contracting industry, with a proven track record of driving financial performance, implementing robust financial controls, and leading successful mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activity . This role is critical to ensuring the company's financial health and sustainability, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and supporting our growth objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic financial leadership and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis.
  • Support M&A activities, including assisting with due diligence, negotiating terms, and integrating acquired entities.
  • Oversee financial compliance with federal contracts, ensuring adherence to regulations such as FAR, DFARS, and other government contracting requirements.
  • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to safeguard the company's assets and ensure financial stability.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement long-term strategic plans that support the companys growth and profitability.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and present these reports to the executive team.
  • Manage capital structure, debt, and equity financing to support the companys strategic objectives.
  • Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship and development opportunities to support their professional growth.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including significant experience in the federal contracting space.
  • Middle market expertise with a proven track record of scaling small businesses.
  • Experience working with private equity firms and understanding private equity investment strategies.
  • Experience with debt financing for company acquisitions.
  • Experience directly supporting organizations specializing in GovCon technical services.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal contracting regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record of successfully supporting M&A transactions, including due diligence and post-merger integration.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, with advanced Excel skills
  • Deltek CostPoint experience, required
  • Experience with private equity or debt financing for company acquisitions and enhancing financial performance is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and financial management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices, general ledger, and financial statements.
  • Skilled in financial modeling, process analysis, and risk management.
  • Advanced capacity to think strategically about organizational needs and options and take initiative to develop and implement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and stakeholders.
