Job Description
Fish Tale Boats is looking for a Sales Administrator. This is a full-time position that works closely with the sales department staff and is overseen by the Administrative Coordinator. Ideal candidates will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a background in business computer software. We really need someone who can work independently to stay ahead of team needs and is able to perform tasks in a consistent and accurate manner.
Job duties for this position include:
- Answering and transferring phone calls, appropriately forwarding messages and following up on inquiries
- Handling incoming correspondence, including emails, faxes and mail
- Maintaining an organized system for arranging paper and electronic files
- Consistently following office procedures for organized file flow and management
- Performing sales-related bookkeeping including handling and recording of cash, credit cards, checks and wires
- Assisting the Title Clerk by gathering necessary information from employees and customers in various formats including US Mail, E-Mail and Docusign
- Occasional travel to perform errands, such as dropping off packages
- Primary person responsible for preparing sales files and purchase agreements
- Primary person responsible for creating, updating, and receiving BMT (Boat/Motor/Trailer) Inventory records
- Primary person responsible for maintaining online BMT inventory spreadsheets (Excel)
- Primary person responsible for organizing, verifying completeness, and sending finance paperwork to the bank
- Assisting and interfacing between sales staff and finance groups to provide necessary paperwork for approvals and funding
- Working with our manufacturer partners to update inventory records on their web portals
- Assisting in assembling final paperwork and calculating payroll commission reports
- Assisting in administration of Salesforce CRM
Fish Tale is a family-owned small to medium-sized business that has been under the same ownership since 1996. We are a well-respected, premium boat dealership offering sales and service of boats, motors, and trailers at our two locations in SWFL. This position will be for the main location in South Fort Myers, at the corner of US-41 and Briarcliff Rd.
