We at Precision Motor Worx Ltd, are looking for a enthusiast and motivated Service Advisor/Admin. We are seeking a customer service-oriented Service Advisor & Admin to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for dealing with customers, drafting repair orders, scheduling service appointments, and estimating. Ability to create and execute business idea plans for the company

Past automotive experience in service advisory role would be a great asset.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and organized team player with effective communications skills and a background or experience in the automotive industry.

Job Description

Responsible for welcoming customers and gathering the required information to identify the vehicle repair and maintenance required in a timely and professional manner.

Addressing the primary reason for their visit by listening to the customers reason for bringing vehicle in for maintenance/Repairs. Collecting customer images and/or videos taken of the issue with their vehicle.

Conduct a quality vehicle health check with the customer

Advise customers on maintenance schedules and explain the importance of maintenance based on manufacturers or technicians recommendations.

Confirm when the vehicle will be dispatched into the shop and when the customer can expect an update throughout the day

Following up with the customer throughout the day keeping them up to date in terms of when their vehicle will be finished along with additional services required as provided by the technician

Engage in an active delivery with the customer upon pick up of the vehicle; going over service and booking their next service appointment

Verifies the scope of warranty coverage if applicable, prior to the work being done and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained

Utilizes Protractor software on all customer pay repair orders

Your Requirements

Have a minimum of 1 year of Service Advising experience.

The right candidate will possess clear written and oral communication and a focus on excellent customer service. Must be able to interpret customers’ descriptions of their vehicle problems and translate into clear instructions for the technicians.

Excellent organizational skills and an ability to effectively prioritize tasks.

Handle basic bookkeeping tasks. Review and prepare expenses and corporate credit card reconciliation submissions according to accounts payable cut-off schedules.

Must be able to effectively deal with customers concerns or complaints and handle them with composure.

Good understanding of the brand, maintenance and aftermarket warranty requirements.

Must be computer literate with an ability to use a variety of programs and be a fast learner.

Proficient in using Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar)

MUST have Class 5 Driver's License and be able to operate both Manual and Automatic vehicles.

This position requires you to have general automotive terminology knowledge, it is a fast paced work environment that requires you to have great attention to detail and excellent time management as it is very time sensitive. If you do not work well under pressure this may not be the right fit for you.
