- Leverage established contacts within various government departments to initiate bidding on new opportunities.
- Work with internal teams to ensure compliance with government regulations and project requirements.
- Provide IT consulting and systems engineering support for both government and private sector clients.
- Focus on **Identity and Access Management (IAM)** projects, though this is not a strict requirement; general IT knowledge and problem-solving abilities are key.
- Deliver technical expertise and support to private sector clients on staff augmentation projects, for which you will be compensated at a higher rate.
**Key Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in **government contract bid preparation** and **execution**.
- Strong network and relationships with government departments and decision-makers to help secure contract opportunities.
- Expertise in **Identity and Access Management** is preferred, but not required.
- Broad **IT background**, including systems engineering, IT infrastructure, networking, cloud services, etc.
- Ability to support both **government and private sector projects**, with an understanding of each sector's unique needs.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset to drive business development.
- Previous experience in **staff augmentation** for the private sector is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
**Compensation:**
- Competitive pay based on experience.
- Additional pay for private sector contracts (staff augmentation).
- Flexible working hours with both part-time and full-time options available.
This is a 1099 contractor position, offering you the flexibility to manage your workload while contributing to exciting and challenging projects. If you're ready to leverage your government contracting experience and IT expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!
