Description ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR SOCIAL WORK The Sociology Department at Bridgewater College invites applications for an adjunct instructor who will teach our SOC 254: Introduction to Social Work course.
Responsibilities for the position include teaching students the development of social work as a profession, introducing students to the various settings where social work is practiced, and emphasizing the helping skills, values orientation, and ethical code of the profession.
QUALIFICATIONS: We seek committed educators with teaching experience. Qualified applicants must possess a master's degree in social work (MSW).

GENERAL INFORMATION: Bridgewater College was founded in 1880 as a coeducational liberal arts college to serve the local community. Located in the scenic Shenandoah Valley, just minutes outside of Harrisonburg and within driving distance of Charlottesville, Washington D.C., and Richmond, Bridgewater is home to approximately 1,400 full-time students from 26 states and 19 countries. Bridgewater students study across 60 majors and minors, in addition to four graduate programs and 10 pre-professional programs. Bridgewater College is an NCAA DIII school with approximately 40 percent of its students participating in intercollegiate athletics on 24 teams.
