Description The Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is pleased to invite applications for an Adjunct Instructor or Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, who will teach two sections of Introduction to Criminology during the Spring 2025 semester.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate students with diverse backgrounds and be committed to equitable and inclusive pedagogy.
Qualifications - Master's degree in Sociology, Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a closely related field.
Preferred Quals Summary - Ph.D. in Sociology, Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a related field.

Salary/Salary Range $1,422-$1,794 per credit

Hofstra University provides the above salary* as a good faith estimate of the starting pay range which considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and education.
